VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK TO RE-OPEN

a snow covered mountain

Exciting news for the Island’s economy and for our visitors! Volcanoes National Park is planning on re-opening some areas of the park later this month. The park had relocated its visitor center to Kahuku Unit which is a one-hour drive south of the main park entrance. Those coming to the Big Island can soon enjoy both swimming with marine life with us and learning about the Island’s geologic history on their trip.
